長年にわたって本校の英語教育に携わってくれているJonathan Edwards先生に，鶴ケ丘の英語の授業について紹介をしてもらいました！

第１回目の今回は，Jonathan先生を始めとしたネイティブスピーカーの先生達が，どんなことを目標にして授業を展開しているかについてです。

English at Tsurugaoka is a multilayered and exciting set of learning experiences geared toward having the students participate more in learning in English rather than simply learning English for its own sake. The native teachers work closely with their Japanese counterparts to make sure that the communication classroom reflects the learning that has happened in their regular reading and grammar classes.

（私たちが教えている）鶴ヶ丘の英語の授業は，1年生から2年生にかけて，生徒たちが刺激的な学習体験ができるようにデザインされており，生徒たちは「英語を使って」様々なことを学びます。またリーディングや文法の授業で学んだことが反映されるように，日本人の英語教員と緊密に連携を取りながら授業をしています。

In the two years that the regular students spend in our program they get six distinct and varied English Experiences.

普通コースの生徒達は，高校２年生までに，我々の授業の中で，6つの異なる英語の体験をします。
